What we publish

Caesar Plaza publishes practical guides on four subjects: understanding cities on foot, planning trips without stress, eating well in places you do not know, and travelling slowly on an ordinary budget. Every article is written to be used, not skimmed, which is why our pieces tend to be longer and more specific than the average travel post.

Who writes it

Caesar Plaza is edited by a small team of three writers: Marta Oliveira, who covers city guides, walking and public transport; Daniel Reyes, who writes about planning, budgets and packing; and Yasmine Benali, who covers food and markets. Every article is signed by the editor who wrote it.

How we work

We aim to publish practical advice that is accurate and clearly explained. When a piece relies on information that changes, such as opening hours, transport rules or entry requirements, we say so plainly and encourage readers to confirm the detail with the official source before travelling. When we get something wrong, we correct the article and note the change rather than quietly editing it.

How the site is funded

Caesar Plaza is free to read and is supported by advertising displayed alongside our articles. We do not accept payment in exchange for coverage, and no advertiser sees or approves an article before it is published. If we ever publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, that will be labelled clearly at the top of the page.
